The Response To COVID-19 Is Ridiculous

You may have lost your job, income, and freedom but at least the government saved your life from a virus with a 99.9% survival rate for everyone under 140 years old.

Finally, we’re starting to get some pushback on this COVID garbage:

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy announced the change Wednesday on Twitter after hundreds of protesters gathered in Trenton, upset with the Garden State’s near-lockdown orders.

“Today, I will sign an executive order to: Reopen New Jersey’s state parks Allow golf courses and county parks to reopen,” Murphy tweeted. “This order will take effect at sunrise on Saturday, May 2nd. Social distancing will continue to be mandated.”

Currently, New Jersey is the only state in the Northeast to close its parks after Murphy signed an executive order affecting state parks, forests and county parks to support social distancing measures.

Even more protests are active in Michigan: the state arguably hardest hit from an overreaching and moronic governor response to COVID:

Hundreds of cars, trucks, and SUVs descended on Michigan’s state capital Wednesday afternoon as part of a noisy protest against Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s social-distancing restrictions that critics say have gone too far.

Dubbed “Operation Gridlock” and organized by the Michigan Conservative Coalition, the protest did just that – creating bumper-to-bumper traffic throughout downtown Lansing as demonstrators blasted their horns, waved Americans flags and hoisted placards deriding Whitmer’s orders and demanding that she reopen the state’s economy.

The lockdown measures are meant to curb the spread of the coronavirus outbreak, but Whitmer has gone further than some other governors — and the backlash in Michigan is among the most heated in the country.

Elon Musk of Tesla also had a few, uh, “choice” words:

“The extent of shelter in place or frankly what I would call it forcibly imprisoning people in their homes is against all their constitutional rights…and erasing peoples freedoms in ways that are horrible and wrong and not why people came to America or built this country, what the f–k,”

Musk lamented before excusing himself for the curse. “It will cause great harm not just to Tesla but to many companies and while Tesla will weather the storm, there are many small companies that will not” he warned. “Everything that people worked for their whole life is being destroyed in real-time.”

I’ve been saying it since the beginning: COVID is overblown and the media lied about the numbers.

Sweden didn’t lock down, tank their economy, or do anything even slightly similar to what we did and they’re fine. Social distancing did nothing. Our models and projections have been proven wrong 500 times over. Half of the country probably has already had COVID-19 without even realizing it.

It’s all garbage. Everything’s fine. Besides the rather obvious power grab.

China lied, people died. Which is unsurprising to the non-indoctrinated considering how evil China is.

This entire ordeal should be a very obvious newsflash for the people who didn’t hear it loud enough before: You can’t trust the media, globalism is a terrible idea and the people that sell fear need to be remembered.
