While the other sections within The Hidden Dominion focus on more philosophical concepts, this category focuses on more everyday applications. Topics focus on second amendment laws, firearms, self-defense, survivalism techniques, and general preparedness (“prepping”).
The definition of liberty is ‘The condition of being free from restriction or control’. Thus, to truly be free, we must also be prepared and in control of our own future. We must have the skills and specialty to get through anything.
This isn’t a generic prepper section. To truly be prepared, we can’t just prepare for the apocalypse. We need to prepare for everything. A lost job is a lot more probable than a nuclear Armageddon. Your chance of being in financial ruin is a lot higher than your chance of getting shot by marauders.
Practical knowledge related to being prepared and the ability to defend yourself are essential for the liberty-minded individual. That’s what this section is all about.
We also include fitness and health. You can’t be an obese prepper. It’s just not reasonable. To be prepared, you need to be healthy and mentally focused. That is why we include exercise, nutrition, and medical articles in this category.
